Mark Kirkham, a 14 year Pepsi veteran, has been named chief marketing officer of PepsiCo Beverages US. The portfolio of brands includes Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, Bubly and Gatorade.
“Over the past 15 years, it has been an honor and privilege to work across our portfolio of amazing brands – and work with some of the most talent people in the industry,” wrote Kirkham in a LinkedIn post. “From Bangkok to Bentonville, China to Chicago, and Dublin to Denver, I have experienced the very best of this incredible company – and now I am humble and hungry to take on this new opportunity to lead our marketing team in the US.”
Kirkham is taking on the new role to replace Greg Lyons, who has plans to leave the company.
“Mark is a multi-disciplined marketer and creative storyteller with deep, global experience in the beverage business. He led the step-changed international approach to accelerating zero sugar and expanding our portfolio to address the needs of evolving consumers,” said Ram Krishnan, CEO of PepsiCo Beverages U.S., in a statement. “In working with Mark over the years, I’ve been impressed by his imaginative approach to scalable problem solving; he is well-poised to take on this role and lead us into the next chapter of innovation and growth.”
Kirkham was recently promoted to senior vice president of sparkling beverages for PepsiCo North America after leading international beverages for the company out of the Dublin office.
