Mary Sagripanti has been named vice president and chief marketing officer of Verizon Value. The news comes after Cheryl Gresham left the role to join Starbucks as svp, North America marketing in February.
In her new role, Sagripanti will be responsible for marketing, brand and demand generation efforts across the Verizon Value portfolio of brands. She and her team are tasked with growing the Value brands portfolio through a focus on market segmentation and cultivating customer loyalty.
Sagripanti joins Verizon from Amazon, where she has been CMO of Amazon Ring. In the role, she led the brand through a number of key moments including making Time’s World’s Best Brands of 2024 list.
Prior to Ring, Sagripanti served in various leadership positions at Amazon, Weber Inc. and Kraft Foods.
