Leanne Fremar is the Chief Brand Officer of JPMorgan Chase globally.
Since joining in 2018, Leanne has played a pivotal role in redefining the strategies
and identities of JPMorgan Chase and it’s two flagship brands: Chase and J.P.
Morgan. Most recently, guiding the formulation and articulation of the firmwide
purpose ‘Make Dreams Possible for everyone, everywhere, every day’. Leanne
actively drives the strategic direction and execution of all advertising and
experiential consumer touchpoints, including the Chase Freedom partnership with
Kevin Hart, which has led to over 5 years of ground-breaking campaigns. Other
noteworthy accomplishments include the physical manifestation of the Chase and
J.P. Morgan brands, such as the development of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The
Club airport lounges and the J.P. Morgan Branch Network. Throughout her tenure,
Leanne has led the on-going research on consumer segmentation, product and
pricing innovation, brand health and reputation measurement, and competitive
intelligence, enhancing the firm’s ability to foster deep connections with diverse
audiences.
Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Leanne led Starbuck’s Global Brand Studio. In this
capacity, she oversaw the global media, advertising, digital and social marketing, and
merchandising teams and was instrumental in redefining the brand’s identity and
creating immersive customer experiences that resonated on a global scale.
Leanne brings her expertise from previous roles leading the Women’s business of
Under Armour, where she won AdAge’s 2014 Marketer of the Year for her execution
of the “I Will What I Want” campaign. In 2015, Leanne received both a Cannes Lions
Grand Prix as well as the U.N. Women – Breaking Gender Stereotypes Award.
Leanne has deep experience in social impact marketing as well as retail brand and
experience development. Her professional journey includes significant contributions
and leadership roles with esteemed global luxury fashion brands such as Theory,
Gucci, and Polo Ralph Lauren.
